Horizontal boring machine which worked 20 or more years is modernized using modern electrical, mechanical and hydraulic elements. Horizontal boring machine then reaches parameters comparable with new machines of present production.

Horizontal boring machine: WD160, WD200, W160H, 200H, W250H, from Škoda company. FAR160, FAC221 from INNSE company. During modernization it is possible to complete the workplace by rotary table of a corresponding size. Installation requires only small adjustments of the base. The cost of upgrading reach approximately 30% of the cost of acquisition of new machinery.
